Welcome to the Campbell County Police Department

The Campbell County Police Department (CCPD) is an accredited, full-service law enforcement agency with primary jurisdiction over the unincorporated areas of Campbell County, including the cities of Crestview and Silver Grove, the Licking River, and the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. This jurisdiction encompasses a significant majority of the county’s land area and serves a substantial portion of its population.

CCPD is the second-largest law enforcement agency in Campbell County, with an authorized full-time staff of 41 police officers, including seven school resource officers. The department also employs one police records specialist and four police social services workers. These social services workers serve the unincorporated areas of the county, as well as the cities of Bellevue and Dayton.

In addition to the Patrol Division, the department maintains specialized investigative units focused on general investigations, narcotics, sex crimes, and electronic crimes. Additional specialized resources include the Honor Guard, Drone Program, and Bike Patrol Unit.

CCPD participates in multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional teams that support regional law enforcement and public safety efforts. These include the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force, Northern Kentucky Special Weapons and Tactics (NKY SWAT), the Special Investigation Response Team (SIRT), which provides accident reconstruction and crime scene processing, and the Campbell County Fire Investigation Team (FIT). Department personnel also serve on various boards and committees that help provide essential services to Campbell County residents.

The Campbell County Police Department offers a variety of public safety services and community programs to support the residents we serve. Visit our Services page to learn more about available resources, community programs, and ways CCPD works to help keep our community safe.
